The Supportive Education Department
The establishment of the Supportive Education Department in our schools came as a continuation of our efforts to implement the educational program and out of a strong belief that students with learning difficulties possess abilities and skills that can be developed and enhanced through individualized educational plans, strategies, and teaching tools tailored to their needs.
We fully rely on the official curricula of the Ministry of Education to help students overcome the difficulties they face in one of the following core subjects: Arabic language, Mathematics, or English language. These students show lower academic achievement compared to their peers in regular classrooms, not due to any visual, motor, or hearing impairments, nor intellectual disabilities. Rather, the decline appears in one or more learning skills, such as basic reading and writing skills, mathematical abilities, or cognitive processes (like memory, discrimination, concentration), as well as in speaking, listening, or perception skills — all within the range of average intelligence.
