Representing the Minister of Culture, Ms. Haifa Al-Najjar, the Director General of the National Library, Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Ayasrah, sponsored the ceremony organized by Al-Omariya Schools on Tuesday, 28/5/2024, in celebration of the 78th Independence Day at the Schools’ Administration Theater, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Issa Murad.

Dr. Al-Ayasrah welcomed the attendees, conveying the greetings of the Minister of Culture, and expressed his pride and honor in participating in the celebration of this cherished national occasion. He highlighted that Independence Day is a time to remember the country’s achievements, the honorable struggles, and the great accomplishments of the Hashemite leadership in elevating the nation and its citizens through major projects during His Majesty’s reign. These accomplishments include national security and stability, the establishment and spread of schools, universities, hospitals, government and civil institutions, the establishment of the rule of law, and enhancing the role of both the public and private sectors to achieve comprehensive social and economic development.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the General Director of the schools presented a commemorative shield to Dr. Al-Ayasrah, the ceremony’s sponsor, along with awards honoring the top-performing students.
